It was released on April 29, 2022 as the first single from Glo's debut extended play, Anyways, Life's Great (2022). The song went viral through the video-sharing app TikTok and is considered the breakout hit for both artists.
The song debuted at number 91 and peaked at number 42 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first charting song for both Hitkidd and GloRilla.
